Three poems accepted over the weekend, to 2 venues. Both venues had published work of mine relatively recently so I was hesitant to submit again so soon, but their themes/calls fit poems I had written...so I went for it. Glad I did.
Always interesting to see how my poems look in any given venue. This is an Australian Government educational magazine called "The School Magazine". My ghost sonnet looks a lot different than the dark inspiration it sprang from--!
Double Dutch has published my strange sonnet that was based (loosely) on life (not my life, some one else's).(and, not exactly life, more like death). Read it, you'll understand. (Check out my bio there, too.)

Here's a ship being guided in by a bar pilot--which is why the Graveyard of the Pacific isn't as active as it used to be...alas for future ghosts. Still, I love the deathly greens and soggy browns of our old piers. (photo credit: my son).
Some nice acceptances this week. Some more handsome devil poems are in existence too. April is quite decent, despite all this happy sunshine and flower budding....
