Last month, we were at the United Nations HQ representing The Gambia at the 70th session of the Commission on the Status of Women. I was honored to add my voice to global conversations on advancing gender justice and rights.
I was honored to be in Zambia join the African Women Leaders Forum as an expert in the development & validation of their Strategic Plan.

It was an honor to provide my technical expertise & work with women who’re shaping transformative pathways for equality & inclusive leadership.
I was honored to be in Spain to honor the invitation of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation together with the Women for Africa Foundation to take part in the RAISA program for women leaders. 1/6
Being nominated for this program has been an incredible experience and I am deeply honored to take part in conversations that reinforced the need to strengthen African-EU relations in mutually beneficial terms. 5/6

Yesterday, I honored the invitation of Global Platform & spent the day speaking to youth about unpaid care work & its impact on women.
Sharing platforms like these with youth continues to strengthen my understanding of their experiences, enabling me to be of better service.
I am pleased to announce that I have been nominated by the Government of Spain to participate in the RAISA program organized by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, and mujeres por Africa Foundation.
Ahead of my trip, I had a meeting with the Chargee d’ Affaires at the Embassy of Spain in The Gambia to discuss the program, opportunities for further partnerships and next steps upon my return from Madrid.
I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to take part in such a high-level global program for women leaders who continue to serve and contribute to global development.
