If this is a true cross-govt effort, it should consider tax expenditures. We spend hundreds of billions annually through the tax code, distorting spending/investment decisions. Not all expenditures are equal, but savings could fund tax cut extensions. bipartisanpolicy.org/explain

As I have said from day one- Washington’s response to recent closures at Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank of New York should not affect the community banks that continue to appropriately manage risk and do right by their customers.
