Majdi worked as a medical officer in UNRWA before undertaking a PhD on health systems in the Gaza Strip. He was a deeply committed and gifted researcher and I feel immensely privileged to have known him

I found a 1977 company mag from Marathon Oil predicting the climate crisis could cause 'widespread starvation.'
Marathon is now largest oil refiner in US.
