We combine methods from biology and machine learning to track pollinators in time-lapse images 🐝 Help our research by becoming a PolliWatcher on Zooniverse 💫
Today we're excited to announce our biggest workflow launch on @the_zooniverse yet! Several millions og images have been uploaded to the site and now we need your help locating all the pollinators hiding within them🕵️
Head on over to zooniverse.org/projects/toke… to try it out now 🐝
Hang in there! More data is up on the site and our lovely #PolliWatchers are already chiming away at it 👏
Wishing you all a lovely final day of August 🌼

We are offering a 5-day PhD course in Ecological entomology and climate change 4-8 October 2021. Great international group of teachers in beautiful Mols Bjerge, Denmark. Please RT and/or sign up events.au.dk/ccee2021
🐝 Once again, we are out of data 🐝
100K crops in little over a month is just incredible! Thank you so much to everyone who helped out during this and previous rounds of classification 🙏
Keep an eye out here for future updates on #PollinatorWatch 🦋🪰🐝
Today I was offered a full professorship @AU_Biodiversity@AarhusUni. This is my dream job and I am hugely thankful for the opportunity!
In my new position, I hope to stay mindful of my responsibility to mentor early career scientists in their efforts to stay in science.
A great question from one of our #PolliWatchers:
"How can we go about to increasing pollination and go about supporting bee's throughout our ecosystem?"

Well, there are many thing you can do! 👇 (1/n)
Once again our amazing team of #PolliWatchers have exceeded our expectations in both annotation speed and perseverance 🔥 Over 450K annotations in less than two weeks - just incredible! Thank you for your continued support for the project, we really appreciate it 🙏🪰🌼
A brand new batch of data is live on #PollinatorWatch after our amazing volunteers finished the first one in only a month 🔥
Help us understand plant-pollinator interaction by becoming a #PolliWatcher here: zooniverse.org/projects/toke… 🐝
Check out this super cool project that one of our very own #PolliWatchers has set up on Galiano Island, Canada! galiwatch.ca 🤩
Fantastic to see how #CitizenSciene projects like #PollinatorWatch can inspire others and create this kind of ripple effect 🌼🪰🐝🦋🙌
I remember when I used to see a bee and go, YIKES a bee! And now I'm all, Oh wow a bee, hi! You ok there? Need anything? Can I get you a drink? A cushion? Wanna borrow the car?
