25 years ago on my first mission to space, we carried American flags representing the victims of 9/11. Even in the darkest of times, our flag is a symbol of hope and freedom. I’m proud to have worn it on my shoulder in the Navy and at NASA. Happy Flag Day.

Today’s Supreme Court decision effectively guts a key pillar of the Voting Rights Act, freeing state legislatures to gerrymander legislative districts to systematically dilute and weaken the voting power of racial minorities - so long as they do it under the guise of “partisanship” rather than explicit “racial bias.” And it serves as just one more example of how a majority of the current Court seems intent on abandoning its vital role in ensuring equal participation in our democracy and protecting the rights of minority groups against majority overreach.
The good news is that such setbacks can be overcome. But that will only happen if citizens across the country who cherish our democratic ideals continue to mobilize and vote in record numbers - not just in the upcoming midterms or in high profile races, but in every election and every level.

Growing up in the Northeast I never knew much about college football until my youngest brother attended #OhioState, I was shocked that the mascots are taken on the road to rival schools and they're not murdered. Amazes me to this day! 🏈😂 #BrutusBuckeye

I actually grew up in Foxborough and knew the guy who would wear the Pat Patriot getup for the games. Can't imagine he would ever set foot in the Meadowlands, Miami or Buffalo in that suit. 🏈

The fact that #MTG has come off as downright reasonable over the past month goes to show how out of touch the Trump administration is.
President Trump just attacked me and lied about me. I haven’t called him at all, but I did send these text messages today. Apparently this is what sent him over the edge.
The Epstein files.
And of course he’s coming after me hard to make an example to scare all the other Republicans before next weeks vote to release the Epstein files.
It’s astonishing really how hard he’s fighting to stop the Epstein files from coming out that he actually goes to this level.
But really most Americans wish he would fight this hard to help the forgotten men and women of America who are fed up with foreign wars and foreign causes, are going broke trying to feed their families, and are losing hope of ever achieving the American dream.
That’s what I voted for.
I have supported President Trump with too much of my precious time, too much of my own money, and fought harder for him even when almost all other Republicans turned their back and denounced him.
But I don’t worship or serve Donald Trump.
I worship God, Jesus is my savior, and I serve my district GA14 and the American people.
I remain the same today as I’ve always been and I will continue to pray this administration will be successful because the American people desperately deserve what they voted for.
For me, I remain America First and America Only!!!
