That's bullshit. If he didn't agree and sign off on it being the "tradecraft manual" for the SDs then it wouldn't have been circulated to undercover officers. #Spycops #Idiot #SexRing #GroomingGang
Bob Lambert says that the Tradecraft manual was just one officer's view and didn't reflect the #spycops as a whole. But says it was appropriate and helpful.

Advocates of this ban have framed it as 'standing up to big tech' when the enforcement mechanism requires anyone who wants to access these websites to hand over personal identification documents like passports and driving licenses to Meta, Google and Elon Musk. Mad stuff
🚨 NEW: Under-16s in the UK will be banned from the following 10 social media apps TikTok YouTube Snapchat Instagram X Reddit Facebook Twitch Kick Threads

We go again. This time, it's the SDS managers' turn to be grilled. Excited to finally see the fella that always went on holiday with me. And the one who recommended relationship counselling when Carlo Soracchi told him about his 'affair' (their words not mine). #spycops
The #spycops inquiry restarts this Monday! Look out for all the live coverage coming your way over the next two months. Full preview of witnesses: ko-fi.com/post/Preview-of-th…

“We have liaised with [the host of the illegal land sale convention] and [a hardline zionist pressure group] and have deployed officers to [bludgeon anyone who has a problem with war crimes]"

Commander Adam Slonecki, who is in charge of policing London today, said: “We have liaised with the venue and the Community Security Trust and have deployed officers to prevent serious disruption and to deal with any offences, using the full range of powers available to us including imposing conditions under the Public Order Act. “We are mindful that Jewish communities are experiencing heightened fear and concern following two-and-a-half years of sustained protest and, in recent months, a series of arsons and other attacks. “There is a distinction between protesting in central London and protesting in the heart of communities where the potential to cause serious disruption and intimidation is greater and our policing plan reflects that."

How will this not end up appealed? It’s outrageous.
btw few will appreciate how grimly funny it is that this judge both issued a gagging order so that the filton 4 could not explain their motivation to the jury, and then also sentenced them according to a specific intent provision requiring them to have had a specific motivation

Israel's attempts to dissociate itself from its genocide is unraveling. The recent call published by The Lancet to remove the Israeli Medical Association from the World Medical Association is delivering a precise blow to self-perpetuated Israeli delusions of "professionalism" and "morality". The IMA fully accepted the widely discredited Israeli claim that all Gazan hospitals served as Hamas command posts and did not merit professional solidarity, even as Israel was intentionally killing medical personnel. Letters of protest were issued only when it became clear that Israel was starving Gaza. In fact, letters of protest were most likely issued when the leadership of the IMA realized it no longer had international allies and that its attempts to weave its way between Israeli authorities and universal professional standards were failing. When a well-know physician, an anaesthesiologist known for joining rescue missions to far-off destinations (demonstrating Israel's "morality") as well as for serving in the IDF reserves rven after he had turned 80, came forth to testify about the events taking place in the infamous Sde Teiman camp, he was seen as a civic hero. His testimony brought about the arrest of a group of prison guards who had been documented abusing a Palestinian prisoner. While these guards have since been reinstated, the physician published an op-ed with Haaretz today, self-exculpatory but also full of justifications for his actions while serving in the camp. He specifically demanded defense as a servant of the state, insinuating that responsibility was now a lethal load and was being denied by every component of the genocidal apparatus. All this to say that Israel can no longer claim even the pretense of coherence in its self-justifying narratives. It is now a matter of denial ("it's not genocide!") or "following orders". This process has taken a criminally long time. It is compounded by Israel's removal from international and regional decision-making forums. Still, it is gathering momentum. The rats are fleeing.

The John Healey business is a case study in How Britain Actually Works. A big policy demand is advanced by Tony Blair, a minister resigns to acclamation, some spooky MP you never heard of gets lots of attention, generals pop up in support, not a breath of dissent or scepticism.

Such an odd book series as a result of asking people to cover massive distance in such a small space (such as Hugh Collins’ Marxism and Law, but also Williams’ Marxism and Literature) Would really recc this on Miliband in general

I have become slightly addicted to this podcast. I had no idea that it was possible to study cultural studies as an undergraduate. Earlier episodes on Stuart Hall, religion in politics, multitudes in Spinoza, pretty much all of this is spellbinding.
The first episode of a 4-part (I think) series of podcasts on John Clarke's book "The Battle for Britain" has been posted on the CPP web site. It's great to hear John and @jemgilbert talking together. Unmissable. culturepowerpolitics.org/202…

I really am afraid that the entire political/media class can power-fist “Oh wow, it turns out Johnson and Gove were just a crooked imbecile and a vicious little far right dork” up to their gall bladders. They knew this then, in 2016, and behaved like that anyway.

The cost of electricity will rise by 6% from 1 July. So why is British Gas slashing by 20% the amount it pays homeowners when they sell back electricity from their solar panels? Are solar panels worth it anymore? With Madeleine Gabriel of Nesta @Moneybox noon @BBCRadio4
