We’ve survived the jungle! Two nights in hammocks in uncomfortable heat was character building in the extreme! Students did incredibly well and managed self-sufficiency for 3 days. Now for the beach!

Community project complete with wildlife reserve fence erected to protect endangered animals including Sunda Pangolin. Incredibly, as rich reward we found one that very night in another location! Incredible.

Team Ponteland took in a night walk in the deep forests at Sepilok this evening. We were rewarded with amazing mammals such as Western Tarsier and Philippines Slow Loris. Fantastic stuff!
