Thank you to everyone from the @Poolsbrookpkrun community who turned up this morning to remember and pay our respects to our Queen. A beautifully observed minute's silence that will live long in the memory

It was with great sadness that we heard, yesterday evening, that Her Majesty The Queen had passed away. Around the world there are parkrun communities that will be in mourning, and many will be looking to pay their respects.

A late withdrawal means we are missing a timekeeper for the Christmas Day event.
And we could do with a few more marshals and car park marshals. The latter can be done by anyone who is going to run
Any volunteers please?
All systems go for @Poolsbrookpkrun Christmas Day parkrun. Here is some information about the arrangements for tomorrow.

Please do not come if you have any signs of Covid-19. We want it to be a safe event for everyone
#dfyb#loveparkrun
Now that many events have returned in the UK, the safety of all parkrunners and the wider community is really important.
We recommend staying familiar with our COVID-19 Framework, which applies to all parkrun events.

After an early morning inspection at the park, we have had to CANCEL this morning's run. It's too cold and unpleasant to ask our volunteers to stand around for any length of time. Sorry ... we left it as late as we could before making a decision. See you next week
