Found an interesting project - iOS YouTube client that works on iOS 12 . It doesn’t have playback stuck at 1 min issue.

What I know so far: YouTube server now expects PoToken which
- is not generated at all by old YouTube versions (iOS 13 and below) due to absence of logic
- is not generated correctly on sideloaded YouTube

About 1 min stuck issue on old iOS YouTube, I’m aware of it. I couldn’t reproduce the issue on any of my devices so the investigation can’t begin, yet.

As for "No stream Tap to retry" error
- YouTube no longer returns HLS manifest URL and there's no known way to get it
- This breaks AVPlayer (YouPiP tweak with Legacy PiP enabled)

And, most importantly, this is account-based. It can happen in one account but not in the other.

Moreover, disabling server ABR (option in YTUHD) will break YouTube clients on iOS 13 and lower due to the same reason: PoToken.

And PoToken depends on iOS 14 Apple's App Attest which is not bypassable. I feel like iOS 13- YouTube clients are reaching EOL.

YTUHD 2.3.0 backports HAMVPXVideoDecoder for YouTube 20.47.3 , allowing VP9-only videos to play on devices that can't natively decode VP9.

iOS YouTube 20.47.3 removed HAMVPXVideoDecoder (libvpx software VP9 decoder). This means YTUHD won't be able to enable VP9 on unsupported devices anymore.
Good news: appears AV1 is used instead and it works for 2K/4K resolutions.
Bad news: AV1 doesn't seem to work on sideloaded.
