Many SUV’s are too wide for existing European city streets. They have worse vision and are more deadly when crashing into pedestrians and cyclists and their tyres produce more small-particle pollution. All good reasons to limit their use in inner cities.

In our new paper in @Transport_ELS, we interviewed 40 potential bike riders across Melbourne. We found need for a connected network of protected infrastructure and slow speeds (30km/h) to support more trips by bike.
