The NYPD protects and serves all New Yorkers, even those with beaks! On Saturday, officers helped save 11 ducklings from a storm drain at the Police Academy. All baby ducks were reunited with their mother. Job well done by our crew at the Academy!

👀⚓️ Good morning! Great gawking material by the #MaryWhalen today! @SailGP is launching RIB boats this morning and race marks this afternoon. The race is this weekend and can be seen from the west side of governor's island or from commercial spectator boats selling tickets. For info on another sailing race, see our next post about the Red Hook Regatta this Saturday 1-5 PM in Valentino park where youth race model boats they made themselves. We were given 15 SailGP tickets per day to give to community members. Those went in a flash via our last newsletter. The toughest part of spring is the peeping of abandoned ducklings. Right before dusk, there was just one. I couldn't bear to let nature run its course... Anyone up for driving it to the @wildbirdfund on UWS tomorrow morning if it survives the night?
