@LADWP), POLA, and terminal operators, examines the impacts of voltage sags, interruptions, and system interactions using field assessments, historical data, equipment surveys, and system modeling.
The study shows that voltage sags are a primary driver of equipment trips and highlights practical mitigation strategies. Targeted, controlโlevel measures, such as optimizing drive settings and conditioning control power, can improve equipment rideโthrough and reduce downtime, while mediumโvoltage solutions may support applications requiring higher reliability.
