What's happening in Gaza should make us ordinary Americans stand up and take a stand because we're fighting as a country and a society.
Because right now our government is supporting something as horrific as what the Nazis did to the Jews in World War II? Do we, as a people, really want that weight on our shoulders to be equal to that regime?
For my part, I despise this aberration of genocide that Israel is perpetrating, and I hope that soon all Americans will unite to stop this aberration that shames our grandparents who fought against this very thing in World War II!

I hope our government doesn't support Israel. First, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza, and now these guys want to drag us into a war they started right now.

What my friends at ACC say about me: I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe. I prefer to call the shots and enjoy coming to you when I'm ready for pets. Jamal 2.0 tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in an experienced, adult only home. β€οΈ π»β€οΈ π»β€οΈ π»

An update on beautiful Rose. The vets ran her bloods on admitting her for her operation and sadly they showed she is in kidney failure. They advised she would not survive an anaesthetic with her current levels. And the polyp runs too deep to remove under a mild sedative.
So she has been on a drip today and sent away with antibiotics and other medications to support her kidneys, together with a special diet. The plan is to see her in a month and run her bloods again.
We very much hope her operation will be able to go ahead then and until then she will be in special foster where she will get to experience a loving home life for the first time. For the next couple of nights she is with foster furbrother Errol πΆπ₯° She likes him very much! π
We are so very grateful to everyone who donated, but if anyone would like their donation returned until the outcome is known please drop us comment or a message. Needless to say we will do all we can for this special girl π

You might think you need lots of experience to bring dogs on like this, but it is just time and patience and not pushing to hard or too fast. We can provide lots of support and if you have a dog in the home they will do a lot of the teaching for you.
