The Edina Hornets football team just won their first Minnesota state championship since 1978 with the Chicago Blackhawks’ first-round draft pick playing his senior year at QB, and the hockey team’s goalie scoring 6 TDs in the title game.

Congratulations to SS George McIntyre, who was selected as the Blue Ribbons' MVP for the 2025 season. Despite playing only half the season with Green Bay, McIntyre still finished among the team leaders in most offensive categories, slashing .398/.494/.765 with an OPS of 1.259
