Planning a trip to @ExmoorNP? Why not buy a copy of Memories from the Future and learn about some of the moor's history. Then you could pop into Exford's Exmoor White Horse Inn, have a cream tea and look for the lost cellar! The book's available in the park shops and online.

A busy day today – booking received yesterday to give a talk in Poole for a U3A group whose speaker had cancelled. After a quick meal it was off to Barton St David's history group this evening. That was the second time I'd been to this group who host a very sociable evening.

I love these Exhibition postcards – often sent home by a visitor with the stamp cancelled at the venue. I have several in my collection and they all share a different story. #PostedInThePast

Read about the tanks that participated in the First and Second Battles of Bullecourt during April and May 1917 in ‘Bullecourt 1917: Breaching the Hindenburg Line’ by Paul Kendall, published by the History Press. The book contains many images of the tanks sourced from my personal collection and is now available for purchase at the Tank Museum at Bovington Camp, Dorset. tankmuseumshop.org/products/… #worldwarone #WW1 #firstworldwar #bullecourt #Britisharmy #tankcorps #history #militaryhistory @TheHistoryPress @TankMuseum @TankMuseum
