Out now on @ChandosRecords… Our second volume of Brahms and Contemporaries, featuring Brahms’ Piano Quartet in C minor alongside Louise Héritte-Viardot’s radiant, nature-inspired Piano Quartet in A major “Im Sommer” - we hope you enjoy listening!

This coming Thurs, March 20, at @wigmore_hall, @ElenaUrioste and I will be playing some of the most beautiful music you’ve probably never heard, from four great French and Belgian composers - see video for a clip of each. We’d love to share all this glorious music with you!
“gorgeous music, played absolutely beautifully” - BBC Radio 3 Record Review
“swooningly beautiful” - The Arts Desk
“submerse your January body in a fantasy world” - Norman Lebrecht
What are you waiting for?!

Why is this exquisite music not better known?! Hope you enjoy this little trailer featuring Hahn’s Piano Quintet (hardly ever played) and À Chloris (heard more often, but not in my chamber arrangement featured here!)…
If you’re not listening to/playing/programming the outrageously beautiful music of Reynaldo Hahn, what are you even doing with your life!!!
Our next album — an all-Hahn celebration — drops Jan 31 on @ChandosRecords! 💿 Visit lnk.to/CHAN20326 to pre-order/buy/listen/swoon!
Very excited about this one - some of the most beautiful music I know, with some of my favourite people ❤️ And the songs are in my new chamber arrangements! The first single is out now, and you can pre-order in advance of the full release on Jan 31st…

An honour to be part of this line-up for Sean Rafferty’s farewell @BBCInTune broadcast last Friday. I’ve had the joy of playing and chatting with Sean on more occasions than I can remember over 24 years. It was a hilarious and tearful farewell party, and we’ll miss him terribly.
This Sunday morning (8th), @ElenaUrioste and I give a coffee concert at @wigmore_hall, playing two of our favourite sonatas - Janáček & Brahms G - and two miniatures by Dora Pejačević (incl this Élegie). A few tickets left (£18/16) if you fancy joining!

Winterreise w @PosterTom today in Taunton
@KaleidoChamber
This was the first time we did it, in a farmhouse in the Brazilian jungle, with only candle light..
We had a blast @HHChamberMusicF this year, not least ending up on the floor with @PosterTom close to the end of a Happy Birthday for the Salisbury’s Granddaughter. The piano bench gave up on us!! Thanks for the photo @FMarshallPhoto
My brother @tobipostersu’s strange and beautiful one-man show, ‘The Lonesome Death of Eng Bunker’, runs from tomorrow till Sat at @OmnibusTheatre Clapham. Featuring puppetry, striptease, gothic horror, conjoined twins… Oh, and I wrote the songs! omnibus-clapham.org/the-lone…
Just have to say that @auroraorchestra’s family concerts are absolutely brilliant - Tico and I were enchanted by ‘Far, Far Away’ yesterday, and anyone with a 0-5 year old should catch next weekend’s shows at @KingsPlace! (Here’s Tico running from Kings Cross to get there…)
Agree completely about it not feeling like a concert. We went to this gig (?) at @SaffronHallSW and it was just so much fun. Came away just buzzing with the happiness and community that music can make.
And here I am ending the night with a kazoo solo…
(By the way, the Wigmore audience were brilliant with the voting, and notably clear about their preferences - but perhaps less creative with the noises they made than the @through_t_noise crowd!)
This didn't feel like a concert, but like being round your very talented mates who play what you want.
And, yes, you got to vote on it. (I'd like to see how that went at Wigmore Hall.)
And I'm just stunned by @PosterTom 's virtuosity here.

A #noisenight isn't a conventional concert - it's normally standing around in a bar.
This was in a club, so - for those of a certain age - it was Wheeltappers and Shunters meets Wigmore Hall.
(And that's a compliment from me!)
And more great music.

The last time I heard 'La Vie En Rose' live was Frederica von Stade's farewell tour.
Last night @ElenaUrioste and @PosterTom worked similar magic at @through_t_noise#noisenight
We had Prokofiev, Cecile Chaminard and a gorgeous piece from Donald Grant.
A perfect evening.

We’ve been really touched by the responses to the first disc in our ‘Brahms and Contemporaries’ series on @ChandosRecords, and hope you enjoy this video giving a taste of both pieces - the lyrical beauty of Luise Adolpha Le Beau the fiery coda of Brahms’ 2nd piano quartet!
