We want this to be an inclusive and diverse forum for discussion. Therefore we are inviting people to submit short blog style articles that are thought provoking and will help stimulate conversations.
Posthumanist pals, @NathanGubbins @SarahWalden14@shedderwick@PoppyWilde I'm reading a text that claims posthumanism believes we are at the end-point of evolution. I disagree but I would really love to hear a plurality of voices on this.
Thank you @yvonnevictoriao for a fantastic webinar session this afternoon! Really engaging debate afterwards as well! Thanks to everyone for attending and for @JaydeMartin7 for hosting!
Ever wanted to know what was in the Ethics but couldn't be bothered to read it yourself? Well now you don't have to! Come and listen to me chat about Spinoza later today and I'll let you know why immanence and affect are the perfect companions to a posthuman approach!

Question for those who haven't studied philosophy.
What does the phrase "the moral status of animals" appear to refer to, at first glance?
Just first thoughts, anything. I ask as I think the jargon of my field is confusing and, perhaps, unhelpful.
No, you won’t. A “memory” is a complex action involving the whole body and portions of the environment. It’s something “performed” —not “replayed” or stored somewhere in the brain.
Elon: “In the future you will be able to save and replay memories. You could basically store your memories as a backup and restore the memories. You could potentially download them into a new body or into a robot body."
