Fredericksburg Main Street Hits Forty Million Milestone Fredericksburg Main Street received a Virginia Main Street Milestone Award on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, for attracting more than $40 million in private investment to the historic downtown since the program began in 2013. The recognition highlights measurable success in building improvements, volunteer engagement and private investment. City officials, business owners and community leaders gathered to celebrate the milestone, which reflects confidence in downtown revitalization through historic preservation and economic growth.
