There's a new machine on our production floor! The Helios HERA 500 is officially up and running. This addition expands our manufacturing capabilities and supports our continued commitment to precision, quality, and efficiency for our customers.

Every application comes with its own design challenges. When a customer in the industrial processing equipment manufacturing industry needed a drive solution tailored to a new system, our team engineered AD‑104 to meet their unique requirements. The gearbox powers a vertical cuttings dryer (VCD)—a mechanical separation machine used in oil and gas drilling to separate drilling fluids from solid drill cuttings. This is the world's first hydraulically driven VCD, featuring dual hydraulic motors that provide instant full torque and faster spin‑up compared to traditional electric drives, among other benefits. To commemorate the collaboration, Aldo and Corey designed a fully functioning 3D printed replica of the AD‑104 gearbox as a gift to PEM's new customer—highlighting the teamwork and custom engineering behind the final solution. #CustomEngineering #GearboxDesign #3dprinting #teamwork
