Had a great time attending the 2024 #ASMmicrobe in Atlanta, GA with @PowerOfMicrobes. So nice to finally get the chance to meet many of our collaborators in person. We also presented our latest research on N-cycling.
Stay tuned, the results will be published soon.
We will present 2 posters at #ASMicrobe 2024: AES-FRIDAY-710 (Nitrate removal from agricultural drainage) and AES-SATURDAY-802 (Microbial N cycling on Cladophora) by @hwongumn. Hope to see you there!
There are upcoming postdoc opportunities as well. Contact me if interested.

It had been a wonderful time in Berkeley in the past 4 months as a part of my sabbatical project. Thank you @BanfieldJill and @BanfieldLab for hosting me. I learned a lot!
We @tuatebel were honored and delighted to have Prof. Satoshi Ishii @PowerOfMicrobes in December (tuat-chemphys.net/?p=3701). We were inspired and overwhelmed by his work on wood chip denitrification and oxygen-tolerant N2O-reducing bacteria!
先日の微生物生態学会(36th日本&13thアジア共催)で博士学生部門の優秀ポスター賞をいただきました!これを励みに今後も研究頑張ります!
I won the PhD-student poster award at the JSME&ASME joint conference! (photo with Dr. Ishii @PowerOfMicrobes who advised me in Minnesota last year)
As a part of my sabbatical project, I spent 3.5 weeks in China (Xiamen, Beijing, and Xi'an/Xianyang). It was a wonderful trip, meeting with many professors, interacted with researchers, and having fun with students and friends. Thanks @QianZhang58 et al. for hosting me.
