I disagree with you Gargi. Too many visitors treat safaris and nature reserves as content opportunities chasing photographs and video clips for social media, with little regard for the creatures they’re disturbing. This has to change.
Animals are not entertainment. They are not props. They deserve to exist in their natural habitats without being stressed, provoked, or exploited for human amusement. Make pre-safari education mandatory. Before anyone is permitted entry into a wildlife reserve, they should be required to complete a course on animal behavior, ethical observation, and responsible conduct in the wild. This is not an unreasonable ask — it is the bare minimum.
