Budgets are a statement of values and the decision to once again fund ICE & CBP while simultaneously eroding access to healthcare is a devaluation and de prioritization of communities.
We’re outraged to see Congress approve a lucrative amount of money to DHS, allowing Border Patrol & ICE to continue terrorizing our communities. Read our full statement from Katherine Olivera, our Director of Government Relations.

Lately, there’s been a WAVE of fear-mongering content around birth control, and we know it can be hard to tell what’s true. But here’s the thing... A LOT of that misinformation is being pushed by groups that don’t us you to have control over our own bodies. Stay vigilant.

Hard to believe but absolutely true that the right of Americans to use the birth control that works for them is under attack. Today, I filed a discharge petition to protect that right by demanding a vote on the Right to Contraception Act. I encourage all of my colleagues to join me in protecting the right of all Americans to use the form of contraception that works best for them, and for them—not the government—to decide whether and when to grow their families.
