The labor movement was born in the coal mines of IL & Appalachia. Hardworking rural people lost their lives in the mines to keep the lights on in US cities.
We must stop mining & burning coal. We must empower and support coal communities to forge a new path. #JustTransition

Alisha Granderson of @hoisierraclub said the rate increases come at a time when many families are already feeling a tighter financial crunch.
