The murder of His Royal Highness, Eze Barrister Paulinus Ekwueme, the Ochia I of Ochia Kingdom, and five others in Imo State triggered an extensive intelligence-led investigation by the Force Intelligence Department – Special Tactical Squad (FID-STS), which uncovered a wider criminal conspiracy, led to multiple arrests, and culminated in the apprehension of a principal suspect linked to the killings. This documentary provides an inside look at the operation and the Nigeria Police Force’s pursuit of justice and accountability.

Peter Obi is different from the opposition leaders how exactly? Aisha Yesufu was reportedly offered a House of Reps ticket under the NDC platform by Seriake Dickson and Obi himself; For someone who speaks so much about credibility and following the due process, why should anyone get an automatic ticket and he endorses the idea? Isn't that hypocr'sy and a clear case of favoritism? So NDC has a power sharing formula just like the APC but the party is supposed to be the liberation of Nigerians? Laughable.

On Monday the 8th of june 2026, i was on @tudobams twitter space. I promise to post receipt/evidence of scamming and high level corruption in the NDC @NigeriaNDCHQ Below is a receipt of 20,000,000 million naira that was scammed from the hand of a senatorial aspirant of the NDC, and a petition to that effect already sent to the EFCC @officialEFCC THE STORY After purchasing his 3 million naira expression of interest form to contest for a senatorial slot in the NDC, he was invited to Abuja for screening. On reaching Abuja, they gave him a form to sign that he will abide to whatever the screening committee does, and will not sue the NDC to court. He was surprised, but he went ahead and signed. He felt they were going to screen him based on his profession, political exposure, grassroot structure, past records, qualifications obtained, etc. But to his wildest imagination, they started asking about his bank statements, the number of houses and properties he owns, cars and investments, about his financial capacity, etc. They told him that he has to show capacity if he really wants to be a senator. They wrote down an FCMB account details for him, and asked him to pay the sum of 20,000,000 million naira into it. He paid the money, and the NDC shut their doors at him till date. He is now asking the party to refund him back his 20,000,000 million naira, and has filed a petition against them at the EFCC. Nigerians, this happened to thousands of aspirants nationwide. But because many are still expecting the outcome of their primaries on Monday the 15th of June 2026, coupled with the fact that they singed a no lawsuit agreement, they are just handicapped. I have other receipts and documents, but i will wait for the NDC to deny this first. After purchasing expression of interest form of 3 million naira, what is this unknown 10, and 20 million naira meant for? Who collected that money, and whose pocket is that money going to? If not for scamming, why will the NDC ask aspirants to sign undertaking of no lawsuit?

My attention has been drawn to the interview granted to Channels TV and NJENJE MEDIA TV by Obunike Ohaegbu, the NDC House of Representatives aspirant for Nnewi North and South/Ekwusigo Federal Constituency to the effect that he did not tell me directly that Peter Obi said that he should pay N10m to NDC account for nomination fee. I have been laughing since then. In all honesty, I cannot even say everything this man told me about Peter Obi just to preserve the remaining of Peter Obi’s tattered reputation. Indeed, I asked him a question when we were discussing orally, “are you telling me that Peter Obi is the head of this criminal gang that defrauded you people?” He answered “Peter Obi is the head, stomach, and feet of the criminal gang.” As a matter of fact, he pleaded with me to save our people from the criminality of Peter Obi. I told him to put it in writing. His message was so long that he had to apologise for the length. Please tell me, if a person said that Peter Obi was writing list of aspirants in John Wood Hotel, Abuja, who didn’t win election in NDC, to become candidates for NDC, what else is criminality? He even stated clearly that Peter Obi wrote Senator Victor Umeh’s name as a candidate when he lost. He referred to Peter Obi as my friend in some of his allegations against Peter Obi. I asked him to clarify that “my friend” which he wrote was Peter Obi, and he expressly admitted that. See the WhatsApp messages where he confirmed he was talking about Peter Obi. Please see some excerpts as directly stated by Obunike Ohaegbu: “My brother, The entire NDC project, at least from my personal experience, has left me feeling deceived and profoundly disappointed ... While other states, particularly Kano and several states in the North, appeared to be engaged in negotiations and consultations aimed at achieving consensus, neither I nor, to the best of my knowledge, any aspirant from Anambra State was invited to any meeting for the purpose of negotiating or agreeing a consensus arrangement. Consequently, I mobilised my supporters and participated fully in the primary election process in the belief that the outcome would determine the party’s candidates. This naturally raises a fundamental question. If no consensus meeting was held with the aspirants in Anambra State, and no agreement was reached amongst those seeking nomination, my brother Ken, how did your friend arrive at the list of candidates that he allegedly produced at Johnwood Hotel in Abuja? Consensus, by its very nature, requires consultation, negotiation and agreement amongst stakeholders. Where there is no consultation, no negotiation and no agreement, there can be no consensus. If aspirants were directed to participate in primaries while candidate lists were allegedly being prepared elsewhere, then serious questions arise about the integrity of the entire process. If that is not fraud, then the word fraud must have another meaning ... The list reportedly included individuals who did not emerge from the primary process. Indeed, even Senator Victor Umeh, who reportedly lost his contest, appeared on the list. Yet, as of today, 7 June 2026, the party has still not published the official results of the primaries ... Even more disturbing is the fact that the same statement signed by the National Secretary appeared to shift responsibility for the Anambra situation to PO. I have read the statement several times and remain unable to understand how a political party can conduct primaries, refuse to publish results, claim to have completed appeals, produce a controversial list of candidates, and then seek to place responsibility elsewhere.”

Upon receipt of the viral video, the Command immediately subjected its contents to scrutiny and commenced a swift investigation to verify the claims contained therein. Findings revealed that the video was false, misleading, and deliberately designed to create fear, panic, and anxiety among members of the public. Extensive investigation and verification further established that there was no kidnapping or banditry incident as portrayed in the video within the Owode-Idiroko axis or its environs. PRESS RELEASE OYO POLICE COMMAND ARRESTS SUSPECTS OVER FALSE BANDIT ATTACK ALARM IN LAMINI COMMUNITY, WARNS AGAINST MISINFORMATION AND DISINFORMATION The Oyo State Police Command wishes to inform members of the public that it has arrested two suspects in connection with the deliberate dissemination of false information alleging that bandits invaded Lamini Community in Ido Local Government Area of Oyo State and killed six persons. The Command's attention was drawn to a widely circulated voice note on various WhatsApp platforms and other social media channels claiming that armed bandits had attacked Lamini Community and killed six residents. The publication generated fear, panic, and apprehension among residents and other members of the public, while creating unnecessary tension within and around the affected area. Upon receipt of the information, the Command immediately mobilized patrol and tactical teams to Lamini Community and its environs to verify the claim, reassure residents, and douse the palpable tension generated by the alarming report. Following a thorough assessment and on-the-ground verification, it was conclusively established that the purported bandit invasion and killing of six persons never occurred. Consequently, the Commissioner of Police, Oyo State Command, CP Abimbola Ayodeji Olugbenga, psc, mnips, directed the Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of the State Intelligence Department (SID) to undertake a comprehensive investigation into the origin and dissemination of the false information. The ensuing intelligence-driven investigation, supported by forensic analysis, traced the incriminating voice note to Pastor Amos Joel Muyiwa, who was subsequently arrested. During interrogation, the suspect admitted to authoring and circulating the voice note without verifying the authenticity of the information. Further investigations revealed that the false alarm originated from one Mulikat Bashiru, who had raised the unfounded claim within the community. She was thereafter identified, traced, and arrested in connection with the matter. Both suspects are currently cooperating with investigators as efforts continue to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident and identify any other persons involved in the creation or propagation of the false narrative. The Oyo State Police Command views the deliberate spread of false information, fake news, misinformation, and disinformation as a serious threat to public order, national security, and peaceful coexistence. Such actions are capable of triggering panic, undermining public confidence, disrupting socio-economic activities, and diverting critical security resources away from genuine emergencies. Misinformation and disinformation do not merely mislead the public; they constitute a direct attack on our collective resolve to build a secure and peaceful society. At a time when security agencies, community leaders, and law-abiding citizens are working collaboratively to sustain the prevailing security gains across Oyo State, the deliberate circulation of false narratives serves only to create unnecessary fear, weaken public trust, and create opportunities for criminal elements to exploit public anxiety and confusion. The Command therefore urges residents to exercise restraint, responsibility, and vigilance in the use of social media and other communication platforms. Members of the public are advised to verify information through credible and official sources before sharing same, as individuals found deliberately originating or disseminating false information capable of causing public disorder will be investigated and prosecuted in accordance with extant laws. For Emergencies, Contact: Oyo State Call Response Center Toll-Free Line: 615. Oyo State Police Command Control Room: 08081768614 & 07055495413.
