After a loss of power on Friday, the team worked through the night to install a new engine in the United Toyota Imperial Supra EVO2. Their dedication paid off as Ryan Eversley delivered a strong opening stint, working his way from the back of the field to midfield while avoiding trouble and gaining valuable positions before handing the car over to Karl Forman. "Hats off to the crew. Staying up overnight to swap an engine is brutal, and it's one of the toughest jobs a mechanic can have on a race weekend," said Eversley. Forman took over and put in a monster drive, setting some of his best laps of the weekend and continuing to move forward through the field. "We never stopped fighting. The car was the best it had been all weekend, and the team gave us everything we needed to come back and get a result," said Forman. The duo brought the Supra home 5th in class, matching the team's best finish of the season so far. A huge thank you to the crew for their relentless effort and determination. The team now heads into a well-deserved summer break before returning to action in August at Road America. See you there!

GT4 America Race 1 - This was not the day at the track Ryan Eversley and Karl Forman in the United Toyota Imperial Supra GT4 EVO2 could have foreseen. The car showed its best race pace yet, but with about 15 minutes remaining, the team suffered what appears to be an engine failure, bringing a strong effort to a disappointing end. Ryan shared after the race: “You guys, looks like we had an engine let go in the race about 15 minutes from the end… but the car was actually the best it’s ever been in a race. Just needed a little bit more, and I think we now know why. Tomorrow’s a new day. The crew is working on it, going to put a new engine in there, and see if we can’t get out tomorrow and have a better day.” It was a tough one, but the fight continues. TC America Race 1 Recap | Road Atlanta Under bright sunshine and challenging heat and humidity at Road Atlanta, the grid for TC America Race 1 was set following Friday's late qualifying session. Starting from P9, Mike LaMarra was focused on finding opportunities to move forward through the field and battle for positions. Despite a determined effort and a hard-fought race, luck was not on our side today. In the closing laps, an engine fire brought an unfortunate end to our race. The team is already hard at work and rallying together to get the Acura repaired and ready to fight another day in Race 2. Test Session plus Practice 1 & 2 gave Ryan Eversley and Karl Forman great seat time in the United Toyota Imperial Supra GT4 EVO 2 as they worked to lock in the 2.54-mile, 12-turn road course. Practice 1 and Practice 2 could not have been more different, Mike LaMarra showed strong pace by putting the #73 Acura Integra in the top 3 during Practice 2. Both sessions gave the team valuable data heading into Race 1. Qualifying brought a tougher result, with the #73 sliding down the starting grid to P9. After the session, Mike shared: “Well, it’s a little disappointing. I think we were trying to make some adjustments, which didn’t really work out that well. We’ll have time in the race to figure it out, and I’m looking forward to it tomorrow morning.” With Mike’s excellent overtaking prowess, he’s sure to be charging forward early in the race.
