An Open Letter to Konami
Dear
@play_eFootball @we_konami,
Please hear us out.
African players are suffering, especially those of us in West Africa. It is incredibly frustrating to have a stable internet connection and still experience slow, delayed, and laggy gameplay.
How is it fair that an entire continent as large as Africa is largely dependent on a single server located in Johannesburg, South Africa?
Many of us have invested both time and money into this game. Africa has a growing community of passionate players and content creators who promote eFootball every day. Yet when it comes to server infrastructure, we continue to face challenges that put us at a disadvantage.
We are not asking for special treatment. We are simply asking for the opportunity to enjoy the game on equal footing with players in other regions.
Africa is larger than Europe, yet Europe benefits from multiple servers spread across different regions. In Africa, we are forced to rely on a very limited server presence, which affects latency, responsiveness, and the overall gaming experience.
Please consider expanding your server infrastructure across Africa, especially in regions such as West Africa, North Africa, East Africa, and Central Africa. Doing so would significantly improve the experience for millions of players.
This is a game many of us have loved since the Winning Eleven days. We grew up with it, and now that we are adults, we want to enjoy it to its fullest potential.
Please do something about this.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
African eFootball Players
