Inclusive government
As resolved during the consultative meetings held on 27th and 29th May 2026 on issues concerning indigenous tribal rights, APST matters, the Inner Line Permit framework and related concerns, with CBOs, CSOs, student bodies, legal experts and other stakeholders, the Government of Arunachal Pradesh has constituted the first of the four High-Powered Committees announced earlier.
This High-Powered Committee, headed by Hon’ble Minister Shri @pasang_sona Ji, has been tasked with examining and recommending measures for the re-verification of Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) certificates and all consequential matters arising therefrom.
The Committee brings together representatives from AITF, AAPSU, the Arunachal ST Bachao Andolan Committee, legal experts, scholars and government officials, ensuring a broad-based and participatory approach to this important issue.
