Deeply saddened to learn of the death of His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II, Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia. The Catholicos will be remembered as a distinguished state-minded clergy, steadfast guardian of Christian values and Christian heritage, who dedicated all his life to serving people & preserving national identity & fostering solidarity and unity of the nation.
