I went out on the Channel today just to see if the Government’s new deal with France is deterring crossings as they claim
It isn’t
We found two boats full of illegal immigrants in half an hour
All were escorted to UK waters by the French and they were then taxied into Dover by Border Force
Nothing has changed

So @liveaidmusical is back! Never have I thought a second casting is better than the first but tonight was an exception! Original and new cast were phenomenal! Seeing @timmahendran on stage once again was the icing on the cake!

So when dining at the @caffeconcerto in Covent Garden Piazza at the weekend I was presented with the bill which included a 12.5% service charge. When given the CC machine to pay. It was pre set to ask for the service charge again! 10/12.5/15/20% 1/2

When questioned the waiter said “that was for him!” I have tried to contact @caffeconcerto to ask why? No reply! Maybe someone else can enlighten me as to why a company can request service charge twice?
