She was built on Clyde with Iron Pride when the whole World smelled of War. A long grey Queen with a hunting stride, and 15 inch guns in four, from Scapa Flow to the western swell she carried the White Insignia proud … -(#ALRP)-

Hood was always good at reading people, it helped, especially in the Royal Navy where words and actions of the court did not always perfectly align. She’d played the game long enough to know. But IronBlood was different than the RN in several ways.

γ…€γ…€ Stop it, but the technology is still in early development. It slowed down the corrosion, but it's still slowly consuming me. I don't talk about it much. . . especially in front of Eugen because I don't want to worry anyone, but that is the reality ❞ γ…€γ…€

Her friendship with the battleship had been a testament to that on more than one occasion. The Iron Terror was both fearsome, but fair, and many other things. So seeing her struggle to decide if she wished to allow Hood knowledge others were not privy to touched her.

However as the words left her mouth she felt as if someone had slapped her. Dying… Blue eyes looked to Bismarck as she offered more on the news. The Lady frowning slightly as she took it all in. β€œ is there nothing that can be done to halt it?”

β€œI would be a slap in the face for me to lie to you. But there were many complications in my recovery. It’s not been an easy road. However, I am here and alive.” She watched the other move, she knew Bismarck herself had not come away from that day unscathed either.

γ…€γ…€ Bringing along the tea she once got from Hood, the Flagship of Iron Blood smiled a bit, her gaze lowering. ❝ Much had happened since that day. . . ❞ γ…€γ…€

β€œ And before it happens, do not apologize for what you felt was right at the time. I’ve come to terms with it and long forgiven you. I’m only glad to see you alive and doing well.” She knew the hunt, George had led it and she’d been unable to stop it.

She’d forgiven the Flagship of IronBlood, but she had not nor would she ever forget that day. β€œBut there is more to the after math.. isn’t there?”

β€œVery well, let us begin again”. She laughed softly, now she is mimicking the others stance, sword raised as she looked over her, before she feinted to the right her sword quickly making a swipe at the others hip.
"Not you’re fuslr, I tried something a bit risky and just so happened to pay off," Returning to her spot and taking up her guard again. "And I look forward to it greatly~."

She laughed, β€œI thought I had you but I suppose that is why I need practice. Once more my dear? Then perhaps we can spend time at the beach.”
After a second Hood would receive a light tap on her shoulder. Followed by a short laugh. "Looks like I win this time my Lady~, you almost had me though~." Release the battle cruiser. "Shall we go again?"

She looked alarmed for a moment and braced for the swat to her side with the blade of the others sword. The Lady not expecting such a maneuver, and not able to evade it.

A dance to the side to avoid the thrust it was coming apparent Hood was one who danced past hits when the option presented itself. Her own counter attack with her blade was aimed with the flat at Lions sword arm.
Good, her reaction time see,d intact. Resuming her guard, those feline eyes staring down Hood. Examing everything she could. Lounging forward with a thrust aimed for Hoods right hand with the flat of her blade.

She danced to the side her sword moving to guard her side with a soft metallic sound as it sliced through the air to meet Lions. Her smile still in place but a fierceness in her blue eyes.
A few seconds more of nothing…a swift downward slash, that got fainted into a side slash coming from the left. A test of Hoods abilities.

A gentle smile, β€œ I would say this kind of reunion between friends would certainly count as a special occasion.” She nodded, β€œ We can use the garden, I know it is nice this time of year.” She’d been spending a good deal of her post recovery time there.

γ…€γ…€ Did not shy away from the responsibilities. Lately, she had been in contact with Queen Elizabeth in regards to future plans and such, but they were not exactly friends. ❝ I saved the tea for special occasions. . . and I believe this to be such an occasion ❞ γ…€γ…€

She walked alongside the taller woman, toward the garden, indeed it would be the best for both factions. Queen Elizabeth would be intelligent enough to see that, the only opposition would likely be George. Perhaps Monarch, but Hood could at least talk sense into one of them.

And despite what many might think, while confused to Bismarcks plan and her resulting sinking Hood held no ill will to the Battleship. Being a Flagship was not a simple matter. And Bismarck held a great weight on her for it.

β€œ I would second that notion, we are far stronger together than divided.” And she’d say Eugen was right, the Royal Navy could be the biggest voice of opposition against IronBlood if anyone remained hostile to the faction. And while not herself she could think of some.

β€œ You still have it? I am surprised, but I will not say no. I would enjoy tea with an Old friend.”
