On Wednesday, Year 4 shared their Eric Joyner inspired art work across the cohort. Being able to see each other's work and make positive comments has brought the gallery experience to life. We also had doughnuts and robot stickers!

Yesterday Year 3 visited Butser Ancient Farm, where they learnt more about life in Roman times. They had a great day in the sun making clay pottery, jewellery & mosaics. Today they have had a Roman themed day, where they have blind tasted some food & made their own shields!

The children have really been making the most of the sunny weather this week! Yesterday we saw Year 4 doing PE, Year 5 doing Art and Year 6 working on their history projects all outside. Let's hope this glorious weather lasts! #inhappinesswethrive

Recently the children in Reception classes had the chance to design an Easter egg for Alton @Specsavers which they then displayed in their windows. The team at Specsavers picked their favourite design & this week they came into school to award the winner their prize! #PrimaryArt

As part of their forces unit in science, Falcon class have been learning about air resistance by making & testing parachutes of different sizes. They also looked at images of owls & falcons in flight to decide if the birds were using air resistance to help them speed up #science

Year 5 recently had a fantastic trip to Legoland, where they completed a workshop on forces, built their own Lego rollercoasters and then experienced them - truly bringing the learning to life! Here are some great examples of the work that has followed on from their visit

On Monday some students from Year 2 took part in the Alton Primary Schools KS1 Multi-Skills Event. They displayed their skills in running, jumping, throwing and balancing activities, and had a great time practicing and taking part! #inhappinesswethrive #resilience
