#Harvest 2024 Got it done last Friday for another year but didn’t end the way I planned. Couldn’t have happened on a flat spot. But then a lot of the frustration went away after tying into this beauty for finishing harvest celebrations. And a couple Rums slipped in.

#Auroraborealis Got a few pictures of the light show last night around 3 am. Unusual as they were in the west and south.

#mountainsledding Thanks to great friends I got to experience a pretty amazing trip. Made it back in one piece with some sore muscles. Weather was sunny both days 12c to 15c and no wind. My GPS said we climbed up to 6900 feet. They were very safety minded riding.

Just got back from hiking out to the bench we set up in the valley in honour of our son. Had a Beer in his honour. He enjoyed a cold beer. He’d bring me different ones to try. The one on the bench is the last one he brought for me to try. Can’t seem to bring myself to open it.

Harvest 2023. We had some major Combine problems so decided to get the old timer out 1985 to assist. Was Dads pride & joy. Been in the shed for 7 yrs except when we had it out August 29 2021 to take a sample & the feeder house clutch failed. Put 31 hrs on without a hiccup.

Cab not quite as plush as the new ones. But it does have a customized coffee cup holder if you noticed to the right. Still sounds awesome with that Perkins. Oh it does have air. Pretty special running it that my dad spent many long hrs in.

Had to modify the old timer a little so the old could work with the newer. My brothers little 4 year old grandson noticed we removed the rubber skirt from the end of the unload auger. Not very happy with us. I’m sure dad & my boy were looking down smiling

#hiking 2023 Out for our daily morning hike and ran into some locals. Felt left out as they were more interested in talking to my partner.

Prickly Friend. Met this fellow on our morning hike in the valley. Luckily he was up in a Willow bush having breakfast so my 4 legged partner couldn’t get close and friendly with him.

2023 Bovine Babysitting It’s been about 3 years but the little brother trusted me to look after his girls & guys again. At least this time the weather wasn’t -30c to -45c. Making a bit more of a farm girl out of my boss. Did good job at gate & silage wagon hitch technician.

Everything was still walking on 4 legs when they got home. So liability on me has expired. Had as good a time as going somewhere warm. The boss just gave me a look.

In #memory of our son. Finally got it done. I think our Boy would have approved of the spot. Special place to come on the tuff days and good. Feel a little closer to him there.

Would like to thank my sister in-law and brother for the bench. And our good friend Danny for allowing us to put the bench on his little peace of paradise.

A bit of a handful I would think. Yes we have some amazing things to see in this great country of ours. We just need to take time in this busy crazy world if we are lucky enough to get the opportunity.

#Yukon 2022 My Bosses first flight in the Work Horse of the north. The Beaver. From camp to White Horse 24 minutes. She was pretty excited.
