1,600 teams. 3 first-time hackathon participants. Countless 3am debates. We ranked 77th, but the mission remains. Squad Hackathon 3.0 was the spark. OjaPass is the fire. We’re turning the daily hustle into bankable history. 🇳🇬💻 #SquadHackathon #BuildInPublic #FinTech

When 90 Students Took a Test on My Platform — And I Almost Lost My Mind Today was the day. The Cell Biology and Genetics mock exam for Year One students in my department — built and run on Lagsciprep, a platform I coded myself. And let me tell you: I was terrified. #EdTech

Today, Lagsciprep passed its first real test. Slowly but surely: Building. Testing. Iterating. Improving. Bit by bit. Test by test. Student by student. We're getting there. 🚀 #MockExam #StudentDeveloper #BuildingInPublic #EdTech #TutorialHaven #edtechthanos #unilag

To Every Builder Reading This: The nerves never fully go away. The doubts still creep in. The bugs will still show up But when 70% of your users succeed on the first try? When complaints are normal, not catastrophic? That's the feeling that makes late nights worth it.
7
What This Feels Like: Exhilarating. Thrilling. Unbelievable. One year ago, this was a random domain purchase and a folder on my laptop. Today, it hosted a real departmental exam — and didn't crash, didn't fail, didn't fold. #BitByBit #ThanosGoal

But here's what mattered: About 70% of the students had ZERO issues. Seventy percent. On a platform I built from scratch. Running live for the first time at scale. In a real exam scenario. That's not just a win. That's VALIDATION. #EdTechInnovation

Aftermath: When the test ended, the messages returned — but different: "I submitted by mistake!" "My network disappeared!" "My phone died mid-test!" Standard student complaints. 😅 The kind that happen with ANY exam, ANY platform. Not catastrophic — just normal.

That silence? That was the most beautiful sound I've heard all week. Dead silence = system working. No news = good news. #FirstLiveTest #Lagsciprep

The Calm That Meant Something Then, during the test, something shifted. Everything went quiet. No DMs. No panicked calls. No "Jetro, help!" I sat there, taking the test myself (builder & student at once), and realized: They're all focused. They're all answering. It's working.
5
DMs started flooding in: "I can't log in" "The page isn't loading" "Safari is showing me shege" 😂 iPhone users, I see you. We're still debugging that one. Every ping on my phone made my heart skip. The nerves were real.

The Hours Before: Pure Chaos (In My Head) I ran tests after tests after tests. ✅ Local tests ✅ Live tests ✅ Bandwidth checks (100 students submitting simultaneously) ✅ Score calculation validation ✅ Database integrity checks And still — I was terrified. #StudentDeveloper

Months Into Uni & I’m Already Building the Faculty’s Future Website — Here’s Why “Audacity” Changed Everything Last week, I attended an orientation. I left with one word burned into my mindset: Audacity. Not just intelligence, skill, or hustle. #university #Audacity #tech

Build before they ask. Propose before they notice. Lead before you're chosen. Audacity opens doors that credentials knock on. What will you build — and who will you ask — this week? #BuildInPublic #StudentLeadership #UniversityLife #FacultyWebsite #OpportunityCreation
2
Because sometimes, all it takes is one moment of boldness to change everything that comes after. Audacity isn’t recklessness — it’s belief in action. And I’m just getting started.

My Challenge to You This Week: Find one thing in your department, club, or community that’s missing. Build a solution — even if it’s rough. Then, ask for the opportunity to implement it. Don’t wait for an invitation. Invite yourself. #StartBeforeYoureReady
1
But audacity is rare. It’s the difference between: • Dreaming of hosting events & asking to host one • Seeing a problem & volunteering to solve it • Waiting for an opportunity & creating your own
✅ You don’t need permission to start — I built before I asked ✅ Opportunity comes through visibility — Now the entire faculty knows what I can do The Real Takeaway — For Every Student, Builder, and Dreamer: Talent is common. Skill is learnable. Wisdom is valuable.
