There’s a lot we can’t control. But we can control how we show up for kids, for each other, and for ourselves. Small moves. Make that next right move. And then the next. And the next. That adds up. One foot in front of the other. It is enough. You are enough.

Some of the sweetest moments of the first day of school at Oak Hills were big brothers and big sisters watching over their little siblings. "You go this way, and I go that way," one sister told her little brother, giving him a hug. #OHBetterTogether

Treat people right. Appreciate them, encourage them, support them and make them feel like they matter (because they do). Do this at home, at work, at school, at the store, etc. Do this with people you know and people you don't. Try your best every day to make someone else's day.

Don’t worry about tomorrow. Just win today. Then win the next day and the day after that. That’s how you win the future. Day by day.

Struggling kids don’t make it because they are in the right class. They make it because they have the right teacher. This year… you can be that teacher.

The newest 'buzz' from Oak Hills! We're so proud of fifth grader Shree Patel for being the Oak Hills Virtual Academy Spelling Bee Champion! Best of luck to Shree, who now moves on in regional competition in the 2021 Scripps National Spelling Bee. #OHBetterTogether

The Oak Hills Alumni & Educational Foundation is such a good friend to Oak Hills schools! Its newest act of generosity is a supply of picture books for Mrs. Packer's classroom at Oakdale Elementary. Thanks, OHAEF! #OHBetterTogether

Read- Read- Read
When you come back to school after being out last week and your readers request new nonfiction books because they devoured all these ones while you were gone... My book heart ❤️ is so full 🤗 #MyStudentsLoveReading #OHBetterTogether @PrincipalWinkle

Teachers... you are not ultimately responsible for the success of your students. But the research is clear: you ARE a crucial variable. There are times that your initiative, your compassion, and your perseverance, is what gives students the hope and the ability to keep pushing.
