It genuinely warms my heart that there are in fact some folks that had a rough first introduction to me on Twitter (usually because I criticized something they said) who are mutuals now because we can appreciate each other enough to agree to disagree on some things.

Probably 11, but 14 gets spared because I never actually got to play it because the servers never let FTP players connect. So much for the free trial, it's a trial of the character builder and then an aggravation simulator.

Unpopular opinion? #FFXIII is overly hated imo. Talk about it being a hallway simulator, agree, it is linear, but so was FFX. It's obviously done for the purpose of story beats and the pacing is good. I'm not saying it's as good as earlier FF, but it is a strong game still IMO.

Rejecting a job by saying "I don't want to work for a Jew" is extremely unprofessional and shows extremely low impulse control. Was it bad of the company he interviewed with to "dox" him. I guess but if you send an e-mail under your real name that says "I don't like Jewish people" to a Jewish person, what did you expect to happen?
Cornell student Austin Franco was doxxed by Jewish business leaders after explaining that he ādidnāt want to work for a Jew,ā claiming his experiences with Jews were not āpleasant,ā after a NYC startup he had applied to reached out to him three times.
After one of the cofounders, Gabe Einhorn, posted Francoās reply with his last name blocked out, Franco was quickly identified.
Einhorn said he did not āwant to ruin his life,ā but wanted to āraise awarenessā of antisemitism.
Franco, in a now-deleted post, said that in his personal and professional experiences, Jews were tribalistic and vengeful, and tended to ruin and bully others who opposed them.
Franco stated, āI am sure that if you indicated you didnāt want to work for someone who was White or Christian this would not have blown upā¦ā
Franco claimed that the actions by Einhorn and the Jewish community, posting his reply, doxxing him, and then trying to investigate and uproot his personal life, vindicated his concerns that Jews do not work with others politely.

The only universally objective flaws in video games are implementation failures such as bugs,crashes,broken features,softlocks andhardlocks,severe performance issues,faulty controls or misleading/missing information that prevents intended play. Stuff like that.
Everything else is either a matter of opinion or depends on the goals the game is trying to achieve.
While some goals can be reasonably guessed at, players often assume goals the developers never intended and then criticize the game for failing to meet them.
This is a take most will say they agree with, but often act as if they dont, including me ngl xD

Faithful. If SqEnix tries to pull a "we made a totally different game" with 9, they're going to cause a riot. Fans of 9 want QoL improvements and graphics that don't look like they lost a fight with a chainsaw. The cutsceens are already beautiful and the gameplay is peak.

Strangely enough, the one that made me actually weep was the ending of 15, when Noctis sits on the throne.
I didn't even like that game and am on record that 75% of the base game's plot is explained in paid "expansion content." None of which I paid for or ever intend to.

13, because clowns who quit the game in chapter three because "too linear" have literally never been to the Archylte Steppe, never wandered the surface of Pulse, because they lack any kind of attention span and didn't read any of the logs in the menu.

By my count this is the third former Platner girlfriend who says he long knew his Nazi tattoo was a Nazi tattoo.
At this point anyone who believes his claim that he didnāt know until October 2025 is simply deluding themselves.
It also suggests that Platner is not only a liar ā¦ but even worse he believed he could peddle this lie even though heād told multiple people the truth. Thatās a lot more than a character flaw.

By far the dumbest decision in the sequels was to introduce this new big bad guy - Snoke - and then kill him off with absolutely zero explanation of who he is or why he's important.
And then re-introduce the same big bad guy from the original trilogy because they ran out of ideas.
The Last Jedi should have revealed that Snoke was a super powerful dark side entity called from beyond the galaxy by the death of Palapatine and Vader. Luke fought him and lost. Snoke turns Ben. He went back to the original Jedi temple to figure out how to win.
