In our partnership with @stratasys we're testing out the J55, their latest polyjet 3D printing machine, to print color, texture and graphics directly into a single print. It allows us to create prototypes faster and realize designs with fewer steps.

Cut-and-sew projects start with a pattern that can combine a variety of textiles including fabrics, foams, knits, or hard good components fabricated in the shop. The soft goods team takes all the components and sews pieces together in the sewing lab to create the final assembly.
