A 10-year-girl in Delaware picked up โItโs Perfectly Normalโ while at the library with her mother. When they came home, she showed her mom the chapter on sexual abuse and said, โThis is me.โ She was being abused by her father, and it was the first time sheโd spoken about it.

When abortion is banned in the South or Midwest or Appalachia people genes to shrug their shoulders, thinking folks can just fly or drive to the closest state where abortion is legal. But sometimes they canโt. Sometimes people are forced to stay pregnant.

The MA asked if I was pregnant or breastfeeding.
Me: We are expecting via surrogate I know it sounds crazy, but Iโm prepping my body to induce lactation.
MA: Congratulations. That is wonderful.
