Fun fact:
Per ESPN's Rob Demovsky, the Dolphins have not won a game with a kickoff temperature under 40 degrees since 2016.
Under McDaniel’s tutelage, the Dolphins have been eliminated in the AFC Wild Card Round of the playoffs in each of the past two seasons. Both cold weather games (Bills and Chiefs.)
Dolphins have had some struggles with injuries which have led to their seemingly up and down successes and failures…
McDaniel has done more than enough to justify keeping his job a little longer in my opinion.
Colin Cowherd had some ominous words about the head coach position in Miami…

#SnowDay in Cleveland.
A snow globe-esque scene stormed the field during the Pittsburgh Steelers game against the Cleveland Browns at Huntington Bank Field.

Surprise! The #Dolphins are finalizing a trade with the #Giants for former Pro Bowl TE Darren Waller, who is coming out of retirement to play in Miami, per sources.
A fascinating twist for Waller, who retired last summer, and a new weapon for a team that just traded Jonnu Smith.
There has been some negative feedback concerning the Cleveland Browns' venture to enclose Huntington Bank Field stadium.
The feedback comes from a nostalgic point of view. Football played in the unpredictability of mother nature. Adding another factor of the game to plan for throughout the season.

The #Steelers have no intention of trading star pass rusher T.J. Watt and their focus remains on extending Watt’s contract, per sources.
Watt, who turns 31 in October, is due $21.05 million in the last year of his current deal.
𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧: Multiple teams are showing trade interest in #Steelers star pass rusher TJ Watt, who is unhappy with his current contract situation, per @AdamSchefter
Today’s events will likely only increase outside interest, but Pittsburgh has yet to show a willingness to trade him.
Sources: In recent weeks, multiple teams have been discussing whether they can trade for Steelers’ standout T.J. Watt, who skipped the team’s most recent minicamp. Pittsburgh hasn’t shown any willingness to deal Watt so far, but he’s unhappy with his contractual situation and sources believe outside team interest is likely to increase given today’s trade.
The #Dolphins had previously paid Jalen Ramsey $4M this offseason and they added another $3M more to facilitate the trade — for a total of $7M. The #Steelers will pay the rest of the $26.6M this year.
The #Dolphins are now in conversations with multiple teams about acquiring a tight end after sending Jonnu Smith to Pittsburgh, per sources.
A wild start to the holiday week could get wilder …
“The Steelers, not only made it happen, but gave Jalen Ramsey a raise for this coming season. So, that tells you how much they wanted him.”
- Adam Schefter
What I have been told is the Steelers' view Jonnu Smith as a TE, a slot WR, and a fullback -- they will use him in a very hybrid way in Arthur Smith's offense.
AND they see Jalen Ramsey as an outside corner, slot corner, AND he can take some snaps at safety.
