2 years ago we were told the white away JMU jerseys would be coming in VERY late from Nike. JMU was playing rival UVA away at noon in week 2 and the forecast was scorching HOT. They did not want to wear their dark home purple jerseys. I told them to overnight and drop ship us the blank jerseys from the factory in South America. The jerseys made it through customs and showed up that Wednesday afternoon. We worked non stop and by 10am Friday, I was on my way to JMU. My bonus for going above and beyond was a hotel room for 2 nights on campus, all access on field pass for the football game and a ride on the team bus to UVA. 5 minutes before JMU took the field they introduced me to coach Cignetti. They said “This the guy that customizes all of our uniforms”. He smiled and shook my hand and said “We almost had to cancel the game” we both LOL.
