Spent this morning talking to reporters. ABC reporter says she wants my “response” to the “women dying because of abortion bans.” I told her no woman has died because of an abortion ban & to give me a specific case. She balked & referenced ProPublica. I explained ProPublica supports abortion and started specifically debunking their reports, starting with Amber Thurman’s case. Reporter responded by claiming Texas woman died because pro-life law doesn’t permit miscarriage care. I read her the Texas pro-life law explicitly saying removing a baby who has already passed is not an abortion and is legal. ABC reporter doesn’t respond and says she has to go. Nope, not at all. Some came to their scholarship through being evangelical Christians opposed to abortion, only to learn the Bible says nothing about abortion, and Judaism does not view the unborn as persons with protected status.
