Today, we joined the @NUP_Ug candidate, Hon. Timanyire Fenekansi, for the second day of campaign activities ahead of the 18th June LCV by-election. As we have consistently stated, Comrade Fenekansi is the joint opposition candidate in this important election. The enthusiasm and support we witnessed in Bubogo, Kabwoya, Kicanga, Karama, and other areas clearly demonstrate that the people are ready to entrust him with their vote. Together, we remain the United Forces of Change in Kikuube District, working hand in hand to deliver the leadership our people deserve.

This afternoon, we were honored to receive a delegation from Kasingo Church of Uganda at our residence in Rusembe. They visited to congratulate us on our 15th January Victory and to pray for us as we embark on serving the people of Hoima West. I am deeply grateful for their prayers, encouragement and the thoughtful gifts they delivered. May God richly bless them for their kindness and support. Earlier today, i delivered 100 bags of cement to St. Jude Catholic Church, Ruyanja, fulfilling a pledge I made during my campaign period. I promised to support the church with 100 bags of cement within my first 100 days as an MP. Remarkably, I have honored this commitment in just 30 days, demonstrating my dedication to keeping promises and serving the community with integrity. I extend my sincere appreciation to the leadership and members of St. Jude Catholic Church, Ruyanja, and I remain committed to continued service and support for our community through action, not just words.

On this day, I would have said "Happy Heroes' Day," but many of our Heroes, whether departed or alive, are not happy. Nevertheless, we honour the courageous men and women who sacrificed for our motherland. I will remember Omukama Kabalega, honour My leader Gen. @mugishamuntu , Salute Dr, @kizzabesigye1 , and many other men and women who stood firm for a better Uganda. I salute our mothers and fathers and all ordinary Ugandans who have endured hardship dreaming of a better country for their children. The heavy rains and hailstorms that hit Kyentale Cell in Hoima East yesterday destroyed crops, therefore threatening food security. Such intense storms are increasing with climate change. Climate action includes disaster relief, I call on government agencies more so OPM and disaster agencies to assist affected families at least with seed and dry food. This morning, we officially kicked off the one-day @TheAllianceUG (ANT) Bunyoro Sub-Regional Post-Election Review and Women’s Leadership Training at Millennium Hotel, Bujumbura. The training brings together leaders and participants to reflect on the recent elections, strengthen leadership capacity, and advance women’s participation in leadership and decision-making.
