“She loves her blanket almost as much as I love her.” 💓✨ A man rescued a female dog from the street yesterday. The dog was very frightened but kept tightly holding onto her old blanket. He gently called her into the house, allowed her to bring the blanket with her, and comforted her by saying, “It’s safe now.” He gave her water, taught her to sit and shake hands. The dog still would not leave her blanket even for a moment—even when he washed it, she just sat and watched attentively, waiting. Later, the dog shared her beloved blanket with a small kitten, and the two of them curled up and slept soundly together.

He never left after he recovered, and now he brings her gifts every day like a thank you she never asked for. Have you ever had a wild animal decide you were their person?
