Ali, fighting for women with gynaecological cancer
Ali Crawford explaining at the ANZGOG ASM2025 that cancer is a chronic disease, that nurse practitioners for all patients are essential, that women know what they have to do, especially for their children. Such strength. @anzgog @OvarianCancerOz @ocrfaustralia @WEHI_research

A great loss to our cancer community. John Hopper had a wide and deep impact via his epidemiological observations. I’ll never forget his photo of twins: “look at their body habitus, amazing”. He will indeed be missed.@WEHI_research @UniMelbMDHS
“I will miss his sharp intellect immensely.” Our Chief Executive @Prof_G_McArthur AO has expressed deep sadness and paid tribute to a giant of Australian cancer research, Professor John Hopper AM. Read more: bit.ly/3C5FWIp

Congratulations to @LindaMileshkin and the ICON9 investigators for this important negative finding @anzgog
Great presentation of the first results from ICON9 showing that adding cedirinib to olaparib maintenance therapy did not improve PFS for women with relapsed platinum sensitive ovarian cancer! So proud to lead the trial for @anzgog who recruited 1/3 of the patients

September is Gynaecological Cancer Awareness Month. Over 8,000 ANZ women are diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer every year. Diagnosis is often delayed, leading to the treatment of advanced diseases, which is fatal. Too many are losing loved ones. #GynaeCancerMatters
