The CRISP tool increased risk-appropriate screening for bowel cancer in general practice settings, specifically for patients with average risk who were due for screening. It's a promising step towards implementing this tool in practice.
New paper alert 🚨 How do we find the right test for each person when it comes to #bowelcancer #screening? We tested a new online tool #CRISP which uses personalised #risk profiles to detect cancers earlier! Read: pursuit.unimelb.edu.au/artic… @ProfJonEmery @sibel_saya @jenmcintosh22

We began developing the CRISP trial ten years ago. The RCT tested a risk-prediction tool for colorectal screening in general practice. In parallel, we conducted an implementation study with practice nurses in a primary care setting. Thanks to PC4 for supporting this study.
