I visited the Stawell Underground Physics Laboratory (SUPL @StawellLab) last week, on a field trip for members of the @ausphysics Vic branch.
Located 1 km beneath the surface in Stawell Gold Mines, SUPL is the first underground lab in the southern hemisphere!

DUNE can precisely measure the total flux of 8B solar neutrinos with NC neutrino-argon interactions.
Combined with DUNE CC measurements, this would enable a direct SNO-like CC/NC comparison to precisely measure oscillation parameters and allow unprecedented tests of new physics.
