Saw a great article on grad admissions. Here are recent annual US stats:
law schools: 351,100 applications & 41,136 matriculated (~12%)
med schools: 816,153 applications & 21,338 matriculated (~3%)
doctoral clinical psych: 39,781 applications & 4,806 matriculated (~12%)
