NEW: Sweepstakes casino operator VGW has been sued for a 2nd time in Hartford Superior Court by a Connecticut resident who alleges that VGW operates an illegal gambling platform and "falsely deceived" him into believing that it was a "legally permitted sweepstakes" under CT law.

The lawsuit was filed by the same lawyer who filed the first lawsuit. Same allegations as the first lawsuit. In both lawsuits, the plaintiff alleges that they "opted out" of the mandatory arbitration language in the T&Cs.

Alabama AG: "The Alabama Supreme Court has consistently held that substance is more important than legal technicality; accordingly, gambling devices are illegal if they 'look like, sound like, and attract the same class of customers as conventional slot machines.'"

Missouri's sports betting ballot measure vote totals continue to narrow; if it falls within a permitted recount threshold and "yes" is still up, I don't expect the "no" camp to challenge; if, in the unlikely event it flips to "no", I would expect supporters to push a recount
