Well it is Friday the 13th, and the news isn't good for the world's largest wetlands - the Pantanal, right on the edge of the Amazon rainforest. Read more below. cnn.com/2020/11/13/americas/…

New bridges at our Santa Cruz Forest Reserve! During the Covid-19 shutdown, our Peru crew has still been able to do some upgrades at the field sites, including replacing old bridges with new, sturdier and higher ones.
A violent windstorm in the Peruvian Amazon downed hundreds or thousands of trees on 3 November, including ones that smashed our kitchen and one set of bathrooms at the Santa Cruz Forest Reserve. Time to rebuild! Happily no-one was injured, but SOOO ready for 2020 to be over!
