In the last minutes of session, legislators passed a bill to establish committee to determine whether or not trans girls can compete in school sports. We denounce wholeheartedly any attempt to bar trans athletes from competing as their true selves.

Please read thread for some quick takes on today's meeting. The beleaguered HOPWA program deserves this attention, and it's past time for the City to step in and step up.
